Tanuki Dojo is a Seikukai certified dojo. Its representative is Kohei Yamauchi。
Even out on the Oki Islands, far from the mainland, you can train in the karate and Combat Karate that Seikukai has carried on since 1977, and learn the manners of budo that begin with a bow and end with a bow.
For training times, visits and joining, please contact the dojo directly.
Seikukai was founded in Kawanishi, Hyogo in 1977 and now has its headquarters in Ikeda, Osaka. It is a full-range budo dojo teaching Karate, Combat Karate (Jacket MMA / full contact), Kickboxing and personal training.
Alongside its three branches in Japan (Ikeda HQ, Kawanishi-Midoridai and Takarazuka), it is connected to affiliated dojos: four in Indonesia, one in the United Kingdom and one in Shimane.
Its watchword is “the strength to live with kindness and wisdom”, and the seven virtues of bushido — righteousness, courage, benevolence, respect, sincerity, honour and loyalty — are the pillars of its teaching.
