Founded in 2025, the International Combat Karate Federation (ICKF) builds on Seikukai’s 47 years of teaching experience to promote and develop safe and fair "Combat Karate."

MISSION
Mission & Three Pillars
Martial arts and combat sports have the power to raise people, connect communities and bridge the world — yet their social value is still not fully recognized. Built on safe and clean competition, the International Combat Karate Federation (ICKF) works to raise the value of martial arts and combat sports, and to improve the future of our young people, our communities, our instructors, and the arts themselves.
1. Healthy Development of Youth
Before winning, we teach courtesy, discipline and self-mastery. Martial arts and combat sports are education itself: the body mechanics of budo educate the body, the spirit of budo educates the heart (courtesy, self-control, perseverance), and the tactics of combat sports educate the mind (reading a situation and judging in an instant). ICKF spreads this whole-person learning to children in a safe environment, across all styles.
2. Safe and Clean Tournaments
Athlete safety first, fair weight/class divisions, and fair, transparent operation. Furthermore, we maintain no ties whatsoever with antisocial forces and thoroughly exclude them. Safe, fair and honest competition is what lets parents entrust their children and society lend its support. This is our lifeline.
3. Community Contribution & International Exchange
A dojo is a place of belonging; a tournament can become a community event. Rooted locally, ICKF connects dojos, athletes and instructors across borders. Japanese martial arts and combat sports are held in high regard around the world; we seek to raise that regard within Japan itself, and to send them, as Japanese culture, out to the world.
Our Vision
By building trust — safe, clean, youth-focused, community-minded — the arts become something companies are proud to support, and that support flows back into events, athletes and instruction, so that instructors once reliant on volunteering can make a living and pursue martial arts and combat sports as a true profession.
Core Policy — Exclusion of Antisocial Forces
The ICKF and its member dojos sever all ties with antisocial forces and firmly exclude them. Not being an antisocial force or a related party is a mandatory requirement of membership.

MESSAGE
President’s Message
I was raised in the dojo, and the dojo raised me. Martial arts and combat sports give children courtesy and confidence, and give adults an axis to live by — I believe in that value more than anyone.
Japanese martial arts and combat sports are held in high regard around the world, yet at home in Japan their value is still not fully recognized. That is why I want to raise their standing within Japan itself, and to send them, as Japanese culture, proudly out to the world.
Nowhere is the challenge clearer than on the teaching floor, where so many instructors work as volunteers, unable to make a living from something so good for society. I want to change that. It begins by earning trust as a safe and clean pursuit — one families can entrust their children to and society can proudly support. Trust becomes value, value draws support, and one day instructors can stand as true professionals. ICKF is that first step.
This is not a federation only for competition, but one for the future of everyone who devotes themselves to martial arts and combat sports. Hand in hand with dojos around the world, we will grow it one step at a time.
